Event Details

The tropics comprise around two thirds of the length of Queensland and include a huge number of important natural and cultural assets. Potential risks from climate change such as changing seasonal patterns, sea level rise and higher temperatures provide a number of challenges and opportunities for this iconic region.

The National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility, partners with James Cook University to carry out research projects that address climate change in the tropics and nationally.

This is a free event and will include morning tea and lunch.
